How to read and use CoinMarketCap

CoinMarketCap – an excellent, literally indispensable resource for traders and investors, where you can find useful and valuable information about most of the existing cryptocurrencies.

With this site, anyone can view such information absolutely free of charge:

• Ratings of cryptocurrencies by capitalization, price, percentage changes over different time periods, volume and circulating supply;
• Real-time prices, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and overall charts;
• Reviews, information and links to websites of the most famous cryptocurrencies;
• Ratings of exchanges, including decentralized exchanges;
• News feeds and more.

Even without registration on CoinMarketCap in the upper right corner you can change the interface language and currency in which all data will be displayed – including there are Russian, Russian rubles and others.

On the home page, the default ranking of cryptocurrencies by market capitalization is displayed. Market capitalization – is the current market value of a cryptocurrency. It is calculated by multiplying the circulating supply of a crypto asset by the price of an individual unit. In the top panel of the interface, you can view the total market capitalization of all cryptocurrencies.

Next to the selected cryptocurrency (e.g. BTC), you can see its value changing in real time, fluctuations that can be negative or positive in the last 24 hours, fluctuations in the last 7 days, its market capitalization, trading volume in the last 24 hours and finally a small graph showing the evolution of its value over the last week.

Portfolio in my personal cabinet

Once registered on the site, you can add and manage your own cryptocurrency portfolios. To do this, you need to create a new portfolio and add a wallet address in the corresponding section of your personal cabinet. Depending on their preferences, the user can also add transactions manually.

But the most useful and valuable feature – is probably the ability to connect Binance to your account. To do so, follow a few simple steps:

• Click on the “Create Portfolio” button;
• In the “Create New Portfolio” menu, three options will open – “Connect Wallet”, “Add Manual Transactions”, “Connect Binance Account”: we need the third option;
• Enter a name for the new portfolio and click “Continue with Binance”;
• The site will redirect you to the official Binance page where you will need to log in.

With the help of this tool you can conveniently manage your trades and conduct regular analytics.
